C1 Racing Battle Help! (lotsa Q's)

no, its not about translations, i got that from GameFaqs.

anyway, ive got the game, and its not bad. graphics are ok and the phyics are too. its pretty addictive.

ANYWAY

Im still in Class C beating people drifting, racing and the highway battles.

Questions.....

How do i go to the next level?
What is the RED section of the race line for? Brake marker?
Why does the computer automatically slow down my car for the corners?
Does staying on the Race line give me points?
When i complete in whatever race and hit R1, its gives me green squares with a white circle, BUT there are different shades of green? light, dark, etc?
Sometimes when i win a race during the after screens, i get a silhoette of a car, what it is?

Sounds like you have some driving aids switched on. I have never seen that and I've cleared the C class. Never pressed R1, so I can't help you there.
 
You have ALL of the aids on. Theres an option on the pause menu to turn them off. Theres 3.

if the square is dark Green, you've beaten that car in that mode. If its light green, then you've beaten that car in another mode. (As in, If you beat a car in SP, and go to a drift race and that car is there, it's going to be light green.) Clear means you've never seen them. Purple means you've lost to them.

The Silhoette is a boss car. If you read what it says (the english part) It says where to go to race them.
Beat the bosses to move on.
