So I understand points are scored based on your overall time completed over all the special stages and the driver and co driver with the lowest overall time wins. But what happens if you don't complete one stage? Say your car gets stuck and you can't get it out and forfeit the stage but it is mechanically sound. Can you still go to the next special stage?
I know if you crash out on Day 1 or Day 2 you can still restart and incur penalties for each stage missed under the Rally 2 rule. But how does it equate to your calculated overall time before the penalties are applied? The event winner is based on a calculation of adding all the special stages, but if you miss even one special stage, how can that calculation even take place?
