The single player is a lot like CO2 and the graphics are about the same.

...Say what? The graphics have DRASTICALLY improved. The guns have a lot more shine and detail. The textures are a lot more clear. The clothes soldiers wear looks a lot more realistic. I could go on and on, but if you can't tell a graphics difference you either have a crap TV or you need glasses.

Thats the beauty of the Halo 2 online matchmaking. I can be a level 2 and Heather can be level 20 as an example. It will match everything in between to make the teams as balanced as possible. There really is no better matchmaking set up on any gaming system that tops Halo 2. I am no Halo 2 fanboy but that system works and it works real well. Thats what kept us playing it for almost 2 years straight. We usually stay around 18-22 and thats usually how we are teamed up against other people. It makes the games soo fun and we are in almost instantly. We dont care about making our rank go real high we just like close balanced games.

I understand what you mean I don't doubt that the Halo2 Online mode is a lot better...

There is a thread about this on GTP... "I couldn't care less" since the often used "could care less" doesn't really make sense, or more precisely it means the opposite of what you wanted to say... don't get me wrong, I do not mean to be the smartass here, just remembered the thread and it poped into my eye....

At least we would be teamed up with level 2 players.
I just prefer knowing there is something to see for all the games I play. Thats another nice thing about achievements. They give you goals to strive towards. I have had some fun unranked games in COD3 but when they are done they are nothing but a memory. I have also had some really rough matches in COD3 where the other team had at least 5-6 snipers, extremely advanced players, and just camped and ruined the game. Severly unbalanced.
Regardless I try to have fun with any game I play. I will just have less fun with games that dont allow friends into ranked games.

I actually have some problems to get into games, same with a friend of mine.
Player match > Custom match > list of game sessions. Half of them doesn't work ( can't connect ) although the connection quality is 5 stars and the room is only half full... As you said, let's hope for a fast patch...
 
I was at a party last night and they had COD3 playing. It looks pretty good so I bought it... for $15
