the PM:

"I'm organizing a racing series. It has a great hook and no doubt people will take to it.

The race will be invite only. To qualify, racers will have to demonstrate their ability to set a predetermined pace in an open class of a particular vintage.

Race will be less than 30 minutes long and restricted to 6 participants.

Here's where you come in...I'm looking for a "business" or benefactor to supply a prize. In return the race and racing series will be named after you. "

this is up there with the guy who wanted to hold a raffle for a X1, but all raffle members had to chip in expensive cars so he could sell the cars and use that towards the X1... =/

That's a problem that you can't scroll up half an inch to remember my name... Second, I'd rather toil in obscurity for the rest of eternity then fall for what could only be described as late night informercial... You even sound like Billy Mays...
