Calzaghe v Kessler

Did anyone watch this Champ v Champ unification match?

for the record I am a huge fan of Calzaghe's and have been for years since he beat Chris Eubank back in 1997 ... This guy Kessler I never really knew much about other than he was undefeated and a holder of 2 belts... but wow he was super impressive!

This fight had everything we expect from a battle against 2 world champs and more Calzaghe was nearly floored a few times by Kesslers explosive uppercuts but his granite chin kept him in the game and eventually outboxed Kessler ... No loss of respect for Kessler though he put up a brilliant effort and gave Joe some work to do avoiding that awesome right uppercut ... I would rate this battle as one of my top 10 boxing matches ever as they were both just so damn good and well matched 👍

After 12 hard fought rounds and the bell rang out they turned and congratulated each other with a hug and it was true sportsmanship at its best .. brilliant display from both boxers and i'm sure Kessler will be the next unified Super middleweight champ when Joe moves up to light heavyweight next year

Best fight of 2007 without a doubt I would like to see a rematch but fear Joe would be the underdog as Kessler would be much more prepared

so did anyone else watch this fight? whats your thoughts? ....

So Calzaghe won? I usually watch the fights with my grandma, but she's been fighting cancer so I've missed out on a lot.

OMG WTF! was this on yesterday? How could I miss it!! I love watching Calzaghe fight Damn Im going to have to find a way to download it or something but its still not the same as watching it on TV
