Hey guys, this his my first post on here, and with a few quick searches, I couldn't find this anywhere. I am experiencing a problem- by the way I'm also new to Gt having played Forza for a few years first before buying a PS3. When I try driving some "used cars" that I've bought, I cannot use cockpit view- my preferred one, because it blacks everything out and doesn't let me see the inside of the car as it does with the "premium" cars. Could any of y'all help me out here as to why it's doing this please?

Thank you

Thank you
Because PD was too lazy to give us interiors for them.

There are two types of cars in GT5: Premiums and Standards. Standard cars are available from the used car dealership. They are car models that have less details and don't have interior views unlike Premiums. So, the game developers instead used a blackened out one instead of creating one.

By the way, there are about 800 standards and 200 premiums in the game.

Hope I helped you.

Thanks, that answers my question perfectly, but why (other than laziness i guess) did they not include interiors for so many cars?

One of the largest reason I'm guessing is that those cars were ported from previous GTs...like Gran Turismo 4 on the PS2. That's were those most of those 800 standard cars came from.

Also, 800 cars to remodel would be a very large task for the developers.
