Camero Setup

I've souped up the Camero you win in the Stars and Stripes (beginer) to like 600 hp and I've lightened it to stage three, now I can't keep it on the road.  I've got the most expensive suspension, what are the optimal settings to prevent it from spinning out, etc..

I'm not positive, but you need to get a BRAKE BALANCE CONTROLLER so you can adjust your brakes. Adjust the front brakes a little stronger than the rear brakes, this will help to reduce 180 degree spin outs when turning. Also you need to buy SPORT BRAKES. They provide anywhere from 15-20 percent decrease in stopping distances from 100mph. Also try lowering the car as low as possible, and make the shocks real stiff. If there is NO tire wear, buy the Super Soft tires, BUT if there IS tire wear, try to buy some medium soft tires.

If this doesn't at least help, let me know.

I also had a hard time keeping the Camaro SS, and Z06 on the track. They're kinda hard to turn, but once you learn exactly when, and how hard to brake, you'll get a lot better.

MAKE SURE YOU SAVE THE CAR'S DEFAULT SETTINGS BEFORE YOU ADJUST STUFF, IF YOU DON'T YOU'RE GOING TO BE STUCK WITH WHATEVER YOU DO TO THE CAR.

At the start of a race, look at the lower left hand corner of your TV screen. If there are 4 BLUE colored rectangular shapes alligned like 4 tires, then tire wear is on. Also if you're racing, and you look in the lower left hand corner, and tire wear is on, and you're tires are worn out, the lil' rectangles will be bright red.

If the rectangles are in the corner, you might as well just race with the MEDIUM SOFT tires. They last longer than the super softs when tire wear is on, but they also give you less grip. When I race and tire wear is on, I use Super Soft, and they turn red in about 30 seconds, so I suggest you just go ahead, and buy mediums.
