Can’t place decals on front or rear bumpers

I’m trying to place decals on the bumpers of the Viper (Gr.4, Gr.3) but they don’t show up. I can see them on the canards and on splitter if I move the decal around but no matter what I try, it will not display on the bumpers front or rear. Additionally, I cannot get decals to display on the roof at all or spoiler. About the only areas that work are the side of the car and the hood. What am I doing wrong?
 
You need to select body, bonnet, other (etc.) first, then it asks you what view you want to use. If you select other, it won't let you put decals on the body (for example) no matter what view you use.

Holding down R3 will show you where you can put decals in each view.

Yup.

I don't know what areas are what on the Viper. But normally Other is little areas like canards, grilles, roof spoilers, number plates etc. If you want to put a decal on the body, you need to select body, and bonnet/hood for the bonnet/hood.

Like a say press R3 and it will highlight the areas you can work on with your current selection.

Selecting the view (Left / Right / Front / Back / Roof) only sets how the decal is projected... not what it can be projected on to.
