Can an AI Driver have it out for me?PS4

This may sound crazy but sometimes I feel like one particular AI driver has it out for me. Quite often, I will restart the same race over and over in my career mode, and the same guy pushes me all over the track squeezes me off the track or rams me from behind.

Of course, this could be coincidence but it's starting to get in my head. I feel targeted. But, I'm such a poor driver I have no idea why they would target me.

In a way, I kind of like it because it gives me a rival to target.
 
It's not Ian Bell is it? :) I often see his name pop up on the grid.

Hmm, well they do have a list of names so perhaps there are traits assigned to each one that are in addition to the overall AI settings. I don't really look at the names that much, maybe I should! It certainly would add something to racing if the various AI had characteristics you could recognise.

It's Ben Collins :)

Joking aside, probably just placebo but I sometimes find if I'm a little to aggressive with an individual AI car it does feel like it attacks me afterwards more than another.

Funnily enough @Mr Grumpy I've just been chasing Ben Collins around Knockhill in a RX lite with snow on the ground (25th Dec). He beat me!
