Have you changed the gear ratios as I suggested in your last post?

Also, you need to remember that this game has a huge Japanese bias (considering who the makers are). For whatever reason, they consider the Acura line to be American... it's under the US flag in the dealerships, and Acuras qualify for the Stars & Stripes Cup. So of course the Honda version is faster.

The same is true with the Integra Type Rs. The Honda version is the revised, quicker model, while the Acura is the slower, twitchy version.

Inherent design of the car.

My guess would be your gearing is not set correctly.

Widest does not equal Best.

Usually middle of the range is good. Try setting each one at 31, and doing some testing. You'll notice more acceleration, and better cornering. Remember, you have to slow down to take a corner.

483hp and you consider it slow. I'm guessing that you are pushing near 170mph on test course. Take a moment and think about that. In real life when have you driven 170? If you want speed try "Extreme G3" where you can break the sound barrier.

I know this sounds very negative, but 5 minutes of fore-thought would have given you a good answer.

Three of the simplest things to improve lap times. Bottom out your suspension, set Autogearing between 24 and 35, and ASM=0;TCS=1. Until you start racing for hundreths,a nd thousandths of a second, this will do fine.

Tire choice can shave 10 seconds off a lap. Suspension and gearing will make more of a difference than the next turbo stage.

Another fine point for this forum is proper english. It makes a great difference in response when you clearly state you question or thoughts.

By the way, Welcome abord. It's likely one of the best forums you'll find.

Neon beat me to it.

no actually i hittin 150 in fourth and 200 and something in 6th but that car Altezza i cant beat that and the horse power is like 2 somethin and i find my self losing and imma good driver i slow down on corners and everything

U can't beat the :toyota: Altezza :rscared:, are you sure it's the car and not your driving? No Offense like

How much GT Driving Experience do you have? Managed the Licences yet? :D

Well there ya go then... purpose-built race cars are always going to have better acceleration and top-end speed than a road car that's been retrofitted with race parts.

As far as the Acura/Honda bias, Acura is Honda's luxury division so it may be possible that the Acura NSX was given a "luxury tuning" (softer springs and shocks, wider gearbox, etc.) to match the rest of the lineup, where the Honda NSX was treated more like a true sports car. Just my theory, anyway.

i swear, they shouldn't go about making 2 teg's and NSX's....
....JUST MAKE DIFFERENT CARS!!

if this game had more cars, it'd be kick-ass like no other.
