I got the game the day it came out and have done everything. Still haven't seen gold or silver chrome chips. I had to trade for them like yourself. Weird some people get them so quick and others not at all.

I got mine for having 180 cars in my garage, but i suppose that prize is random.

Yes it is,you get a matte or chrome for every 30 cars bought/won.
