Can I find out how many points a race is before entering

I was wondering if there was any way to find out how many A-Spec points a race was worth before actually entering the race. I hate going into a race thinking it's going to be a hard one, and getting in only to find out it's an 8 point race in my slightly tuned WRX. I don't want to retire from the race, and I feel stupid blowing away the competition by half a lap. So is there a way to find out prior to entering the race?

You can preview the race, before the replay starts it will show you the hp of the lowest car on the grid. You can base your car from that info and see what points you get. But remember that the cars in the grid change all the time/well most of the time.
