So I found my bluetooth yesterday, hadn't seen it in four or five years. As with most devices that have a USB port, I thought "Can I charge this thing from a PS3?". As with with most of the other devices I tried out (Including an old Compaq USB Keyboard and my old Ipod), it worked. Now I'd like to know if I could pair it with the PS3. Not sure how to if its possible as its been while since I've paired it, last device being my old Motorola RAZR. For those that aren't familiar, here's what it looks like:

At first it seemed impossible with my multiple attempts, but I've just been able to pair it. It turns out I need to hold the call button until it came on, then open the boom. It was picked up by my PS3 and now its registered. Now I have myself a mic that I didn't even need to pay for:D

Almost anything Bluetooth can work with the PS3 from what I've found. I have several random phone ear pieces registered on it, and my HP Touchpad bluetooth keyboard. The pairing can be a bit of a hassle though, as some devices are kind quirky about it, as you seem to have found out.

Yep. Wasn't as easy as I thought, though it also didn't help that I also didn't know specifically what model mine was either.
