I have a 40gb and 80gb PS3 but want to sell the forty gig model.
My problem is that I had this PS3 first, so it has my original account, and my main PSN account which I've used to buy extras and some downloadable games.
I have this account registered on my newer 80gb model, and have re-downloaded mos stuff. I need to know if I can delete this account off the original PS3 which I intend to sell. I am worried that deleting the account will make the downloaded stuff on my new one un-usable.
Please respond as soon as you can if you are 100% sure of the answer as I am wanting to sellthe PS3 first thing in the morning.

Deleting the system username will not delete your PSN name. That's stored online.

Thanks for the response. I was just worried incase the actual downloaded files would be un-usable. I guess they'll be fine then.

You can re-download something that you bought off the PSN Store a total of five times.

I re-downloaded Socom, GT5P, and some other things after I took my brother's 80 gig PS3 and put my account onto his system.

Thanks for clearing it up for me, everyone.
My mother is buying the PS3 off me now, so I don't need to worry. (She wants it as a blu-ray player).
