Can I use widebody in races?

I'm still new to GT7, well 60 hours new and I read somwhere that if you put widebody on a car you cannot use it races?

Is that only for sport mode or all the races in single player aswell?

I want to enter clubman+ PP 550 with different cars and will I be able to do that if I put widebody on them?

It completely depends on the event.

Generally in Sport mode it's not allowed alongside nitro, but as for this particular event, just check the event regulations.

Most if not all single player events allow wide-bodied cars. If you don't plan on playing online you shouldn't run into this issue much.

I can’t think of any single-player events that prohibit wide bodies.

Agreed. I don’t recall a single event or race in single player mode that restricts widebody cars.
