If I get, say, the HONDA EPSON NSX '08 from the new cars dealership and it has 493hp, is it possible for me to tune it up to ~800 - 900 hp so I could use it in the Gran Turismo All Stars championship from the Expert series or is it already tuned and i shall be stuck with 490hp and a car I've wasted 900.000 credits on?

If any of you got a race car for around 1 mil, could you tell me if you were able to tune it, and how much tuning is possible?

Tnx!

Things you can tune- Turbo level 2, Turbo level 3.

It comes with fully customizable transmission and suspension.

Do you happen to know how much hp that will get me? Enough to tackle the 789hp to 939hp race cars they have in the Grran Turismo All Stars event?

Don't think you'll get more than 600ish. Use a race modded Z06 or ZR-1 Corvette.

Corvette? Does it handle well? When I tried tuning the Cobra 427 for the historic race car i only manged to spend a huge amount of money on a car that is more in the air than it is on the road.

Eh, don't think so to be honest. Some cars it increases quite a bit though, you never know. Won't be easy though.

Yeah the race modded Corvette is awesome. Handle with care though, its powerfull. Your best bet would be to use this to beat "Like the Wind", and use the rewarded car, Toyota Minolta R88C to destroy "All Stars". The Toyota is in a different league.

this. that is exactly what I did.

Thanks guys! You saved me from spending my entire fortune on a useless car.

I'll get to work then on getting the corvette and beating "Like the wind"!

Of course they can be tuned. All of them can. Some of them can even be upgraded which should not be confused with tuning.

Adding a turbo is not tuning it is an upgrade. Changing your spring settings, toe, camber, engine timing, gear ratios is tuning.

Another difference is that Tuning is free upgrades cost money.

What I meant by tuning is actually upgrading in the game as you correctly pointed out. I wanted to know how much hp I could squeeze by buying and installing upgrade parts on cars already made for racing.

Got the corvette RM with all upgrades and I must say that It worked. Actually, it was a bit too easy since I beat daytona the first try even though I crashed at the beginning. The car was so powerful it felt a bit like cheating.

Thx, finally got the race car!
