Can somebody explain this?

In the latest seasonal time trial, I got a 1:43.867, as you can see on the bottom of the screen. But even though that is faster than the time required for a gold(1:44.5), I still haven't received the gold, only silver.
Any idea why this is happening? What do I need to do to stop it from happening(In this case it isn't important, but for a difficult time trial it would be)

See if you can get under 1:40 or something and maybe it will kick in then? Looks like a glitch.

I got a 1:41 on my 1st lap and it gave gold. Very weird...

Did it read as a "red lap" like if you bumped something, hit a wall.... it won't officially count the lap... I don't know just a guess.

Stoopid question but when did the Time Trials start awarding trophies with target times? And is there a payout?

I only ever tried like the first two, and there were no trophies back then.

I only ever tried like the first two, and there were no trophies back then.

They been giving 1m cr. Payouts for golding 1 which is beating the set time since the patch that gave us racing suits and drift trials too but I think they give less

GT5 has a lot of these issues (SADLY) i race remote and a lot of races i end ARN'T being awarded XP or Credit. I can see in the LOG that my driver did start a race but in the LOG it says he never got out??? Then there's the TT glitches wich aren't fixed. Thats 3 (THREE !!!) MAYOR ISUESS (together with op!) and there are more which i've forgotten.
PD needs to wake up, don't you think ?

It definitely was a clean lap, I tried to simply get around without crashing, hence the fairly slow time. I just hope this doesn't happen to me again when doing a more difficult time trial

You probably had a faster lap already saved so it didnt award you anything because of that.

If he had a faster lap, it would show in the rankings and he would have received gold already.

Check your car stats, if your car wasn't broken in and it happened to go over the limit during the event I dont think you'll be rewarded

The last seasonal had a glitch where you needed to do a manual save to keep the gold. I golded that tt 3 times before I realized what going on. Any changes to car set ups were reset too.

...if you don't do a manual save you gold changes to silver when you go back into the tt.

Not sure if it's the same issue, but I had a weird glitch when I did the latest time trial. I completed a lap that beat the gold time, but when the lap was done, it popped up and said I got silver. However, when I quit out of the race, I still got the gold prize.
