While the Q50, Q60, Q70, and whatnot have been out for some time now, the naming still boggles me.
If I can recall, the past naming system went with:
Model Style, and the the engine displacement.
Such as:
G37 (G, 3.7L V6)
M56 (M, 5.6L V8)
When the Q50's name first broke loose to the public, I thought we were getting another Q full-size sedan with a 5.0L V8.
Turns out it was the successor to the G37.
Can someone explain the new naming system?
