can someon please give me a propper answer of wich car is the fastest one in the straight lines when it comes to acceleration and top speed? (fully tuned) Except the RB X1! And dont count with the bugatti either!

List of cars of what people say is the fastest:
787b
FGT
c60
Viper ACR
Mclaren F1 GT-R
Mercedez CLK
Peugot 908.

But seriously what is the fastest car except the bugatti and the redbull x1!

It is also far from being the fastest in a straight line with a top speed of ~220mph.

I've been up to 240mph+ in the Murcielago SV, McLaren F1, and Viper ACR.
 
On straight line a fully tuned Cadillac Cien can reach 400km/h so it's faster than all the cars you listed (apart from the 787B which I didn't try).
 
Bugatti isn't one of the fastest cars on game.

Bugatti is just really fast on straights, but on turns, it's a cock

I've gotten the FGT up to 239 mph with an oil change, engine rebuild, and the right transmission setup.



And IMO the FGT is by far the fastest car on the game in terms of being able to pull the fastest lap times. Any cars that might be slightly faster on straights are not going to pull the lap times that the FGT can simply because it can take all corners faster than any other car on the game.
 
Well I have an Enzo fully tuned will hit 255mph all day without draft. I also have a 908 that will hit 254mph with out draft. Fastest top speed doesnt mean a damn thing if the car doesnt handle well. For me my 908 I use it for races and to me it is one of the top 3 cars in the game as far as all around performance. Its a beast on the track.
 
I was just racing on SSR7 with the FGT.

The max speed I attained while drafting was 470-80 km and 380 without drafting. To reach max speed while not drafting you need to keep your gear ratios lower than max. Roughly 400-420km as if you put it too 480 it won't have sufficient power and revs to go much faster than 360.

I would say there are faster cars than the FGT in a straight line, although it is completely superior in the corners.

From your list, the fastest car when it comes to acceleration and top speed is the FGT.
 
I've hit 440km/h with the Minolta and the 905 race car on Indy drafting, but only 400km/h without a draft.

The FGT is very very fast. It accelerates faster than any other car with the default setup other than the X1. You can get more speed by changing the gear and the downforce on it. I do nto know how fast it will go but I know it will get to and maintain 240mp with no problem at all even with full downforce. The X1 will do 250-260 under the same conditions. With the lowest DF settings the X1 can hit 300mph with ease. I would guess that the FGT could do at least 250-260mph.

But seeing as how there are no tracks without corners you need more than a straight line and the FGT corners extremely well so....


btw on GT4 the Toyota GT1 could get the highest top speed but it took a long time to get there.
