For the past hour+ I`ve been trying to get into random online lounges & apart from the ones that were full or not found, every room I try to connect to kicks out the "Entry was refused due to network incombatability with the room owner [749]" message.

I`ve rebooted the modem/router & ps3 etc. etc. but cannot connect to anything, regardless if the host is uk, french, canadian, u.s, etc.

Is there a `blacklist` like with xbox where certain players are avoided if they`re on the list?

I guess my question is: have I got such a bad online rep, that I`m actually blocked from racing online?

Any thoughts?

Have you checked your NAT type? It should be NAT2 or NAT1, but definately not NAT3.

Nat is type 2.
Nothing has changed since I went to a wired connection 2 weeks ago, but now I can`t even connect to the rooms I was in yesterday.

This also happens to me. Sometimes help to quit out to the main screen and then re-enter.
I do not believe it is a blacklist.

Regards

Have you tried clearing your cache? Usually helps with any network problems for me.
