Can the AI flip?

I've been trying all day out of curiosity, and I can't get the AI upside down, I can't get them on two wheels, in the air, and all that, but they just won't flip.

I know they could in GT5, but has anyone managed to get the AI to flip in GT6?
 
I did it in an ssrx race one time, in arcade. Red bull prototype, drove around in reverse and rammed him. Can't remember if he did a rollover and ended back on his wheels, or stayed on his roof.

Closest I've heard of.

My closest was the NASCAR Motegi race, I pinned Almirola into the wall off of turn two, and he got air, then got rammed by the pack, and went flying through the air, and went through a car. o.O Never flipped though...
 
Mine caught insane amounts of air, landed on his tail. Again, can't remember exactly what happened, but I know he was on his hood at one point.
 
It was the strangest thing, it rolled completely back on its wheels, then caught and passed me in a few turns. Well, knowing how the AI works, it was more like "it figures" than strange. :yuck: On a different topic, I punted the lead AI off Stirlings Bend at Brands Hatch and it got confused and just sat there in the sand for a bit. Priceless.
 
Perhaps the AI isn't too bad. Well, compared to the 'real' intelligence that admits to ramming cars and trying to make them flip.
 
I've had an AI flip - Running side by side into the final flick flack chicane of Trial Mountain - I had the left side, a GT40 was on the right...
At the time I thought he had bashed into me but from his incar view he was looking at the berm on the inside of the final corner... turned in to avoid this, but My car was there, he sort of ricocheted off me hit the ramp and did a 180° barrel roll and slid, inverted on the pit straight.
 
Saw an Alfa 147 GTA end-over in the Festival Italia (I think that's the name) Monaco race in career mode, after the tunnel and on approach to Nouvelle.
 
Saw an AI flip on the carousel at the Ring. He came up behind me doing over 100mph, hit the barrier and went straight up in the air and landed on his roof, rolled, and came back up on his wheels. When I looked in my mirror again, he was right on my tail ?? Had to watch the replay to see what exactly happened.
 
I did a race at Matterhorn Rotenbode in the WSR F3. An AI flipped coming to the hairpin downhill
 
No I don't. It's happened multiple occasions so I figured it was no big deal to see a flying white car down Matterhorn.
 
I know this is kinda unrelated to thread, but if a cartwheel is considered a flip, then it's possible online
 
You can send the AI tumbling if you give them enough help. And you can roll online, but it usually needs to be an extreme accident to happen, such as when someone's lag is doing 400mph backwards and forwards on a tight circuit and you're on the recieving end of it.
