Can these hybrid cars be traded?

I'm talking about realistic performance modded cars. Like a Spec V with the bigger turbo (i.e 1250hp) and performance mods only.

I kinda missed the boat on the whole hybrid thing (not that i would have tried anyways) but i would like to get a couple realistic cars for offline use.

Any info is appreciated 👍

I thought it just killed the "hybrids" i.e the swapping of parts from different cars but left the "hidden" parts like stage 4-5 turbos etc still work? So you can't put an X1 chassis and engine in a fiat anymore (thank god) but you can still mod the cars with there hidden parts.
 
You can still have hybrids with 2.12 and all hidden parts work besides any nitro, and you still can have hybrids that are insanely fast.

But they can't be traded between people? I.E the cars stats will reset once it is switched to a different persons save game?

I'm in the process of re-updating to 2.11 from 2.12 the only thing i'm not sure about is that my save game is for 2.12 so whether it will sync up i'm not sure... Let's hope.
 
I think they can be traded just fine, the part codes reset as I'm awards and not the turbo code (it's glitches to make the insane cars, and modified to make realistic turbo upgrades) I think they may be traded, but the only way to know for sure is fir an attempt to be made.
 
No, they can't be traded. I have two PS3's, one without the 2.12 update. The PS3 without the update won't let me sign on period. I'll try sign in to PSN, but the game will automatically sign me out to prevent any type of online interaction.

Besides, I just use the non-2.12 PS3 to paint my cars.

You misunderstood the question. Its not can 2.12 trade with 2.11 but can the Hybrids WORKING on 2.12 be traded with another person ALSO on 2.12 therefore BOTH have access to PSN ;)
