Myself and my housemate both own PS3s and we're both connected to the internet. The problem however seems to be that only one of us can ever get online in GT5 at any one time. Is this a limitation of the game itself or is there a way around this problem?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I share a house and 3 of us all have our own PS3's, with all 3 of us owning a copy of GT5!

No problems here, maybe a router ISP issue?

May have something to do with your IP address. Only one IP address online at a time. Can you both go online outside of game? Can you both be in the PlayStation Store? When you say "housemate" I'm thinking your in the UK. It might be helpful if you listed where your at Not house address but maybe town/ city -Country so someone living in same area might know if their is a work-around.

We can both go online at the same time outside of GT5 but he can't be online in GT5 if I'm online first and vice versa. We're both connected to a cable modem via a wireless router.

Is it possible for one of you to connect wired and one wireless? Or both wired? Then see if you both can have GT5 running.

no probs here, me cabled and brother on wireless, racing was awesome.

Well, after trying everything on the connection end and being completely lost, my housemate comes out with the line "I'm still getting the date and time settings error."

:grumpy:

I love when people hold back information. All sorted now anyway. Thanks for the help.
