If u look in the back of the GT3 case, u will see austonding pictures taken from the game, but when I play it on tv, it seems a little bit different. The pictures is a little bit grainy, the pictures in the case are much more clearer. what do u think? :)

it think its because when the games in motion, the polygons/pixals move.....and it makes it look grainy,or its the heat waves..... 😈

What cables are you useing from the PS2 to the TV? If you use S-video(if your tv has the plug for it)you get the best possible picture out of your tv. Also Sony tvs have higher pixel-per-square-inch ratio than all other tvs. Just go to best buy and look real close to the screen of a RCA or anything, and then look close at a sony. You'll see the difference.

Also consider the fact that the pictures on the box are smaller sized, which makes them appear sharper, e.x.

I think its in fact the cable as suggested, I've the European version and with that the AV-cable is supplied, with the original scart-cable the images are much more clearer.......Have to buy it also.....

no its very hard to post pictures from a game in some place else like a site or a magazine and espeically when its moving, the camera cannot take that kind of thing

Actually not quite, but it is pretty darn sharp. For the best picture currently possible for the PS2 on a TV, get component video (If your TV supports it) You will be amazed by the difference Tercel_driver. Any way you look at it, you might want to spend the money and buy the Monster cables connection for the PS2, it will definitely improve your situation no matter what it is.
BTW, they will always have clearer pictures on boxes and such because the have the ability to grab the pictures directly from the frame buffer of the PS2. So in reality, no matter how clear it gets, it will never be pixel perfect as on the boxes.

(PS, there are also 3rd party devices available to allow the use of your PC's monitor. http://www.divineo.com/cgi-bin/div-us/us-ps2-vgab)

Well anyway you look at it, GT3 graphics are the best out there its even than some actual sims on computers that are more powerful so im not complaining.
