Will the next GTP have more smilies in the the smilies box? Or atleast in the Get More Smileys link? I've always wanted to use the smiley/car logos in my sig but since they are not really smilies, just linked images I never could use them.

Well, heh, all of the smilies used to be in the Get More Smilies link, but that was always a pain to open up (especially on slow connections), so Jordan moved them into their own little thingie when GTP5 came about. I personally like the current format, but I can see why people don't, and I don't have a clue what can be done, since I think the vB software is limited to one extra Javascript-enabled list (in the Get More Smilies link)... if the second link could be made that way, that would be great!

I really, really need to stop using parentheses.
 
So nobody enforces the rules for signatures and people seem to be able to put things in them that your not supposed to be able to so... WTF is up with that?? I'd put stuff in mine if I knew web code crap.

There is a chance more smilies will be included in GTP6, but nothing is for sure.

Everything looks much cleaner now that marquees have been done away with as well as those car logo smilies.

Excuse me? :irked:

The rules for signatures are enforced, it's just done subtley, so the general body of membership does not realise that a particular member has been asked to alter their signature.

? Are you referring to images, saying that images are not allowed, but smilies are allowed? This is because smilies as emoticons are treated differently to other forms of image.

And I would advise you not to denigrate an entire field of expertise as "crap", especially immediately after saying you don't know anything about it.

Your post was poorly-constructed, ill-judged and insulting.

No, I'm very doubtful if the logos will be included again.
