The car - Nissan GT-R Black Edition '12
The track - Laguna Seca
The tires - Comfort Medium
The time - 1:36.3

Do you have what it takes? Oil change is prohibited!

Using Comfort Softs I demolished his time by 2 whole seconds, so the real question is...

Can his time be beaten using Comfort Mediums?

Not by me, it can't...but at least I made it into the 1:37 club, barely.

Now it's your turn. Show me what you got!

Managed a time of 1.37:427 after 45 minutes of trying:

I really can't improve my time more than what I've just run. So the posted time, is more than good enough.

Controller used: Logitech G27.

The G27 is 100% stock, and has lived a tough 4.5 years of hard usage. (It's close to ruined by now, FFB rarely works anymore...)

I'd say 1:37.xxx is worthy of a gold medal if this were a real seasonal event.

I do wonder if any GT Academy guys could manage a 1:36.xxx

I wouldn`t doubt it. Those GT Academy guys is some seriously good drivers!

I did this with my stock GT-R BE'12 that has an oil change for three reasons, one it has a lot of miles, two GT-Rs in real life has different horsepower for each car with a lot of them with more horsepower than advertised, and three I'm saving for the Ferrari 250 GTO, fourteen more million to go. So my second lap on comfort mediums I ran a 1:37.776 and on my first lap on comfort softs I ran a 1:36.012 with a good clean lap driving as would in real life.
