ahhh good old CAPA hey? Those boys are a serious bunch of nut cases! I live just round the corner from the CAPA workshop, and they come in to fill the cars up at the Caltex where I work. Every time, it's 2 huge black lines and a helluva lot of smoke as the CAPA drift ute and commodore sinchronise <spelling??? drift out of the servo and back to the waiting truck.

Mate, I would love to get hold of a genuine A9X! And I live in AUS! they are VERY hard to come by, and most people just damn well refuse to sell them!
Those CAPA guys are nutters, you don't need 1000bhp to drift, and I hear they put 235 width tyres on the rear, that's just dumb.

Yeah, I know the rareness of them, but ever since I saw that Holden Comparasin(sp) from Bathurst 2004, I fell in love with them. The more practical thing to do is just move to Australia, which I want to do when I get older.

They have 1000hp not because they need it, but for major advertising, everyone into cars around here knows about the 1000hp ute and when everyone with Commodores and/or LS1 think about performance they check out C.A.P.A. Its all about marketing.

Just shows even people outside Australia knows about C.A.P.A.

You would think that CAPA would have a rather large premises and staff wouldn't you? WRONG!!!

They are set up in an old service station, with about 7 or so employees. But they really do do a great job, and they really know their stuff.

235 tyres aren't that wide really, I have them on the rear of my bog stock VL Commodore, with 215s on the front

Also keep in mind when saying tyres are too width it's also important to know it depends on the car which you are talking about, when you drive much different cars this is what something you'll notice

Oh no, the 235 width tyres aren't too wide, they aren't wide enough, because I've also heard they wrap em around 10" wide wheels, they are super thin.

it's running low profile tyres, and the tyres are thinner to reduce wall flex, as they had issues with it tearing tyres off of the rims. It gets quite a bit of rear end shudder as you can image with the light tail.
