Can you buy GT5 CE if you didnt preordered?

I live in MExico but a friend of mine is travelling briefly to the US for shopping. The Collector Edition of GT5 is not out yet in Mexico (unbelievble). I've been temped to get the standard edition but I preordered for the CE on a local store here.

My question is, is the Collector Edition of GT5 available to purchase in any Sony, Best Buy, Wal Mart store as the normal standard game?
 
I just checked on the interweb and Best Buy (order pick up by 7-10 days) Gamestop (In Stock). So yes it's available. I'm in Bristol,Tn/Va (4 stores within 25 miles have it in stock). If I were you I'd check stores online might save some time searching while in USA. Not sure if you could pre-order it from out of country to pick up. Do you know anybody that lives in USA that could pick the game up for you before your friend goes shopping here?
 
Nope, I don't have friends at the US, but I checked 2 Bestbuy stores in Mcallen TX that have the game. My buddy would also go to Mercedes Outlet where there is a Sony Store, I'm hopeful he can get the Collectors Edition.
