Can you change GT PSP Controls?

Yo guys, I don't think many people visit this forum but anyways Im planning to get a PSP Go for Gran Turismo but I have a question first. Are the controls customizable?

I'd prefer these controls:
Accelerate: R
Brake: L
Shift up: Circle or X
Shift down: Square
Steering: Analog stick

Are these controls possible? Can't stand accelerating with the standard controls. Thanks in advance.
 
Absolutely. All you have to do is go into options, then controls, and alter to your hearts content.
 
Weird setup, I normally prefer:

Shift up, R
Shift down, L
Accelerate, X
Brake, square
Change view, up
Look back, down
Steering, analog stick
 
Massive thanks guys. Im definitely getting it if I can find a good used PSP Go somewhere since they aren't produced anymore.

And those controls are actually the standard controls on PS3 and Xbox 360 (GT5 & Forza 4). No idea how it will feel but I'd just like to own a portable where I can travel around the Nurburgring wherever I am whenever I want to :)
