Can you grind special paints?

Hello GTplanet. I am the sort of person who hates to use things which i know i can't easily re-obtain, so i have yet to use a special paint.
Not to mention that i have only used 2 paints in the game.. again.. same problem.
My question is now, can i just keep buying cars and still get more paints?
Is there a limit on the number of cars you can have in your garage, and if so, is it possible to sell my cars and then start over again buying new cars and still get more paints?
 
You can rebuy cars to get more paint, I think the maximum number of cars that you can have is 2000.
 
yeah, thats the hardest possible way to do it, but sure.
 
I guess the first question is how many possible paints are there in the game. Then with regards to your special paints, why don't you just dupe them to another PSN UserID that you setup. Once you setup the other User, gift the paint chip to him then do a game save. Now you have the new UserID as your warehouse for paint chips and after that User gifts the paint chip to you just reload your Game Save and your warehouse has the paint chip all over again.
 
I kind of want to do this with my silver chrome chip. I've been gun shy with it and haven't used it yet.

Thanks for that advice. I might try that out. Is there a limit on how many paints you can send per day or can i just dupe my whole collection of special paints at once?
 
You can send 5 per day.
 
Is the 5 a day limit based on each PS3? I just send 5 to my sub account and i can't send them back now. It says that i have reached the daily limit..
 
theres gotta be more than 5000 colors in game thats worst case scenario 5 colors per make of car.
