Ok so been playing GT5 for about 2 weeks now and really loving it. Problem is i have got to level 25 done the dream car championship and seen the games ending video and credits even tho it says im only 15% the way through???? I dont get why it makes you feel like you have completed the game when you really have not. Also i have 2 million in Bank and some nice cars my best being the toyota minolta (sp?) , which again was a shame because i got one of the games best cars through 10 mins of racing round 2 tracks. But hey ho..... What i am really wanting help with is, where do i go from here??? 1 month Till i can get online , B-Spec bores me watching a car go round and round, single player races ends up just me seeing how many times i can lap the A.I. I love this games eapecailly with my DFGT nut now kinda feels over before ive begun?

Arcade mode, AI aggressivity-10, Pro-Mode, Comfort Soft Tires, Tire/fuel depletion - ON, Mechanical damage - Heavy, No assists, No ABS (not even a lot) - there you can find a competition where AI will be bored to lap you.

Have you done the license tests? How about any of Special Events? Other than that, you could also test and tune cars in Practice mode until you can get online and race or you could play Arcade mode for now also.

Do all the special events to gold. They are a lot of fun. Last night I actually got bored (I'm 99% through) and I went and did the Loeb challenge a few times and the karting 👍

If you're looking for some offline competitive racing, just for fun, check out this thread.

If you can stand it, once you get to level 35 on B-Spec you get an X-1 which you can win the Dream Car Championship while your watching something on TV. Good for almost 2mil. with 200% login. Came in handy when the Christmas Online dealership had some of the best cars in the game at half price, zero miles. Bought most of them to replace my high mileage supercars.

There's way more A-spec races for you to complete.
It's a bit silly you get to see the "ending movie" before completion of A-spec...

There's 2 ending movies, a short and a long version. I think you see the second one at 50% completion, can't remember the exact percentage.

Listen to CargoRat and Outeke they know what they are talking about. There are lots of things to keep you interested until you can race online. I have been on GT5 since launch and do very very little online lobby racing. I find interesting things to do all the time and am on the PS3 with GT5 almost every day.

Crazy thought... Stop using a car that's dramatically better than the competition.

Start tuning cars, once you get online, you might be humbled a bit, and find that you need better suspension settings to compete.

dismissing the whole b-spec side of this game is a huge mistake....the different cars you get (not to mention credits) go a long way later making life much easier....same for pretty much every event on the homepage
