Can you subscribe without posting?

Hey guys and girls of GTPlanet! I am a member of the community here and I was just wondering. If you could get a thread into the "My GTPlanet" part of the forums without making a pointless post. Kind of like subscribing without posting I guess?

So my point is, I saw a thread called "Oh, oh, oh, I'm making a Ludicrous Claim!" and I want to now if I can subscribe to it without making a pointless post within the thread.
