No i think what he means is can you tune the engine etc, not can you change the settings of the car. And the answer is NO! You cant buy any parts for the Polyphony and you cant even take it to GT Auto to wash or change the oil which is stupid! Oh well! I managed after my 1st attempt to get my fav colour Polyphony GT, Silver!! NICE!

GT Freak!

Pretty much explains it, the only tuning you can do is to the tranny and suspension. And the normal tuning.

tx guys , you saved me some time there. My f1 car is red white and green, and not trendy at all. The replays arent quite as flashy as i would want of this multi coloured bird,. Oh well cant win them all.
cheers anyways,
Gibbo.

So you can't even get different tyres, how annoying! I looked in the tuners section last night and everything was greyed out, gutted.

Thanks for the toe out tip though, the tyre wear is a bit silly..

I quite like the colours of mine, doesn't sound as good as hoped though.

I find the tyre wear on the F1 to be too unrealisitc!

Wears out to fast to me, but I have to admit I'm a horrible driver whose tires were fast already!

I cannot believe this, I sold my F1 after completing the Formula world championship, hoping to get a better colour in the 24hr nurb' race.

What happened? I only won the frigging white/purple one again!!!!

That sucks. I've done the 24hrs or Nurburgring 6 times in a row now, 7 in about 1 hour more, and everytime i've gotten a different color I think they look just fantastic :dopey:

sorry, i must be blind,... but i cant see what garage to go into to tune the formula 1 car, is it possible at all?
Gibbo.

Don't change any settings at all! In GT3, I tried to tune the F090/S, following the instructions to make it go 500 miles per hour, and guess what? It didn't even go 180 mph! After that experience, I will never tune a Formula 1 Car ever again!!!

Plain yellow. Fiddle with the gear settings a bit, but otherwise leave it unchanged. I never increase the gear ratio beyond default, only less than, as its maximum speed (aside from gearing) is only about 220mph.

PEOPLE: can we keep this thread remotely near the subject of settings and tuning for the F1 car(s), instead of discussing color?

'Kay thanks bye.

Sure duke, but one last thing if you don't mind, the red f1car is always out in front. Can't be the 2005 season then!!

As for settings, I find the car quite nice stock, especially the precise gear setting, but i find it a little unstable on narrow, inclined track, like the nurburgring, and i have been totally incapable of racing a clean lap as of yet.

I got the silver one it looks sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!! =)

I agree with Duke. This thread has turned pitiful.

Why do all F1 threads degenerate into pretty-color squealing?
