in the canadian races one of the objectives is for you stay in 5th place or abouve for 1 lap.. i did all 3 races in canadian races including f40 race stayed in 5th place not moved up or down completed all 3.. tried every way to stay in 5th or better place and it wont give it up..

does anyone know how your supposed to earn the star?
 
I didn't get this achievement also when I was supposed to. Anyway, I just re-did one race at Mont Tremblant a long time later (post-patch, while everything else was done pre-patch) and, with the worse AI the patch gave us, I was already first by the end of lap one. Never lost that position and at race-end I got the achievement and the related PSN trophy.
 
It doesn't matter. But the AI is good driving some cars , while it simply cannot handle a few others. A good example of these is the Ferrari 512S, try it! 👍
