SILVERSTONE F1 2011

Hello Guys, Here we are again for the round of Silverstone after an good showing in Abu Dhabi (Organized by Silent7Sniper7 ) and Sao Paulo ( Organized by pj-gm ), I decided too create an thread because I wanted some fun racing with you guys again, The Race will take place on Saturday 3th December, Time (TBD).


Please ensure that you follow the GTPlanet OLR Racing Rules and Guidelines in regards to your racecraft both on and off the track.



Regulations :
  • 100 % Race Distance
  • Rules and Flags will be set to Realistic
  • Tyre wear and Fuel consumption will be enabled
  • Collisions will be on
  • Damage will be set to full
  • There will be a Qualification session before the race.
  • Weather will be set to Dynamic
  • Driving assists are banned except Trans and Driving Line

Drivers And Teams

Drivers will be teamed with whomever uses the same car as they are using. There is a Strict Limit of 2 cars per team to sign up, post in this thread that you are interested in racing with us, just post which team youre driving for, GTP ID, PSN ID and Nationality,



Note: A list of Drivers and teams will be Confirmed and Announced in my Second POST on GTPlanet I hope that you will show interest and become part in some fun and entertaining Racing on F1 2011 The Game.

I won't be able to make it unfortunately. And according to what I see so far, neither will anyone else.

I think that the problem is the track. Silverstone isn't really a smash hit online. In fact, less than ten times had I ever raced at Silverstone in F1 2010, and never so far in F1 2011. People don't seem to like racing on that track much, as it doesn't really provide good online racing. I got lucky with Brazil, as it was in very close proximity to the actual race, which in and of itself carries significant attention towards any video game replication of the event, and Brazil is historically online a very popular track. It was a very popular track to see online in F1 2010, and even now.

I wish you the best of luck, anyway! Word f advice, post in the F1 2011 Palyers group, as well as PM all of the drivers who raced last week. It helps, trust me.

I'd love to be in on the next race, but I usually can't start until 6:30 EST on Sunday.
