Okay, I decided that I want to save all 874 of my PMs to my computer, and delete everything from my inbox/outbox. Now, when I try to do so, I get this error:

I've tried Firefox, Safari, etc, with the same result.

What's going on?

That is odd, as I just went through the steps and it worked fine.

Perhaps IE? maybe?

I am suffering from this malady too, as I tried it back when GTP was having all of the down time. I figured it was just the glitch that was causing all of the downtime errors. I'll try it now to see if it works.
Edit: How strange. The first time I got an error similar to the one Duck had. The second time it went through.

Fine, I'll dig up some old IE5 Mac copy on Google and try...

EDIT: Tried with IE5.23 (it sucks monkey butt btw), and I get the same problem.

That’s not a browser problem – all of that gooblygook means something went wrong on the server’s end (PHP, database, something).

That seems like a good way to manage my inbox clutter.

I just went and did it and had no problems downloading my 1000+ as txt, csv, or xml

edit: Firefox 2.0 btw

What happens if you divide it up, instead of saving all 800 at once why not save 200 at a time? Unless you can only save one at a time.

Maybe the server is overloading so just try the above and report back.

I tried doing 6 by clicking the checkbox of 6 PMs (dunno if this is the proper way of doing it) and I got the message. And I got the same thing with 400~.

If I were to guess, I'd say a few of your PM's became corrupted when we were having all of the database problems. Still, though, the database check is not reporting corruption anywhere, so I can't be completely sure. I've posted the question over at the vB support forums, so I will update you as soon as I know more.
