Cant add gifts to my items list

I just received some paint chips , when i select one and i get the message ''do you want to add this to your items list? Yes/No'' I press yes , and nothing happens.

When i press receive all it get stuck for 5 seconds and nothing happens

Anyone know why?
 
Apparently there is a limited number of items you can have as gifts at one time. Try cashing in some tickets or something and see if that helps. I think the max number of gifts is 100, but don't quote me on that.
 
These are the first paint chips i have ever received and there are only 4 chips total

Still can't get my gifts

Have you tried quitting game, open gt5 and try again?
 
Yes , something really wierd is happening with the game , i cant receive gifts , i did manage to receive one of the paint chips but that was 3 hours ago. I painted my Lexus in chrome and now when i go to my garage the thumbnail of the lexus shows the car with chrome paint but when i select the car it is black .......

something is happening with either my ps3 , or my game but my cd is completely scratchless

i have shut off the ps3 completely now to see maybe if it cools down things get fixed up
 
Im having the same problem , i think its the update because ive had a few problems after it or else the first response is right
 
Maybe try and back up the save to a flash drive, then delete the save on ps3 then back up save from flash drive

Or for that Lexus , go into your garage find the Lexus click triangle then create thumbnail that may fix that problem

or on a another ps3 use create another gt5 acc, then send a few paints and that Lexus from your main acc to your second acc and see if the same problem

Tried that , didnt work , thumbnail problem is solved. Could this have anything to do with the 8GB package i am not installing?
 
just wait mate im sure someone will give you the answers soon ,this thread has been up only 9ish hours ,good things come to those that wait

Finally! Flipped my ps3 from vertical to horizontal

everything is back to normal
 
You don't have much patience
 
no i dont but its not always i have time to play gt5. When i want to relax with some gt5 after coming home from work it kind of pisses me off
