Cant change livery on prize car?

Dont want to put a potential spoiler in, but you get a rather cool car for getting gold on all the license tests. For a break I decided to spend an hour creating a new livery for it. Which the game let me do no problem. I saved it and uploaded it and there it is in my livery library for THAT exact car. Except when I go to garage to change the livery on the car it shows ZERO liveries to choose from. Offline OR online. Have I just wasted an hour creating a ghost livery that exists in my library AND online but I can never use for the car I made it for? If you cant change liveries for prize cars or any of them you should not even be allowed to waste your time creating them! Literally an hour or my life gone

I've managed to change liveries on all my prize cars!! I don't yet have all golds on license so can't check the car you are on about just yet. Question though - I assume you have another model of said prize car, because you wouldn't be able to create the livery in the first place?? Can't you just stick the livery on that one??

I don't have another model of the prize car as its unique. I only won it after getting all golds. It has flashing lights on the roof! So yes a cop car livery was required. Designed and worked fine in livery editor WONT load ugh. STILL shows in my library?!?
There would be no point in using it on a car without the lights. Nissan GT-R Nismo
To clarify YES I got all gold and HAVE the prize car and it was selected in Garage and the livery editor had no problem working on it. It's NOT the BMW Pace car you can buy with mileage credits.

Ah never mind it's a game bug/glitch/feature. You can't select it in available liveries as its not there after you design it UNLESS you choose to UPLOAD it first in the livery editor. In my game you HAVE to go back into the livery editor SAVE it again and then UPLOAD and leave tick box APPLY LIVERY NOW checked. THEN it applies to car. Sucks that my weak livery is online now but at least I can use it finally.

It's online but it's not shared, so I don't think anyone but you can see it. The livery chooser needs to be at the car select screen at least up to 4 should be selectable. I find it such a waste of time to go to the garage to change it, should be available when I choose my car right before a race. Hope they fix that too.
