Can't find '65 Mini Cooper for Menu book 3

First post because I'm so lost here. I can't progress without this car. It's not at the dealership and the only way to complete the menu book is to use the Mini Cooper for the Clubman cup. What am I missing? I doubt I've gotten rid of the car because I haven't figured out how to do that either.

The Mini Cooper is a prize for winning one of the races in menu 3. The Clubman Cup that requires the mini isn’t part of the main progression.

Starting with the basics: make sure that you have actually clicked "start" on any given Menu Book.

When you do this you'll be guided to where you need to go by a yellow compass icon - which also appears in the left of the top menu bar. If you haven't done this, you won't be able to progress at all.

You can (and will) win virtually every car you need in the GT Cafe Menu, by heading to the marked races; buying them is an option, but not one you should entertain too often. There's a list of prize cars and their corresponding races here:

As you can see, you need to do the marked race at Goodwood in the Sunday Cup Classic to win the Mini Cooper S '65, which is telling me that you've either not started Menu Book 3 or you're looking at the wrong race: the Clubman Cup isn't part of the GT Cafe Menu progression, as noted by @Islaygaz above.

You're far from alone! This is probably the number one point of confusion - even among veteran GT players - when running into GT7's Cafe.

Just follow the yellow compass and all will be well!
