cant find car

hi im new to the board, i was just wondering if anyone has found this car? in the lisence tests the integra type-r is the Japanese version with the box spoiler and the squarish headlights and i cant seem to find that car anywhere the only type-r's i see are the US versions. only thing close to that is the mugen type-r, its not that important i just want to have one.
 
If you have the NTSC version (i.e. bought in North America), you simply can't.

The Integra in the license tests is the Japanese-spec Integra Type-R. Sorry, but if you don't have a GameShark, then you can't drive the car in anything other than the license tests. You'll have to settle for the Mugen, Spoon, or North American Type-R's.

However...if you have a GameShark, there are codes to get the Japanese-Spec ITR in your garage. If you have a GS...use the "Buy Any Car From Toyota" codeset along with this:

Not to take anything away from your experience, but the Japanese Type-Rs aren't any different other than a race mod, and it's not very good looking to begin with.
 
i dont have a game shark, guess its too bad for me, i find the j-spec type-r to look much better than the north american one, and obviously other people feel the same, otherwise honda wouldnt have changed the headlights for the japanese public, and people wouldnt be attempting conversions to those lights.
 
You have to buy it just like the Japanese-spec ITR, find out what version you have, and buy the CLK Race Car (a.k.a. CLK-DTM) with these codes in place of the Integra's.

are the following vw models available with the Gameshark on the PS1?


Golf IV TDi
New Beetle 1.9
Polo 1.4 16V
Polo G40
New Beetle GT
 
Well, from the above list, only the Polo is missing. I think the the "G40" is the same as the Polo 1.4 16V. If that's not the case in real-life, then I can at least assure you that there is one and only one Polo in GT2, and that car is also hidden.

Again, you aren't missing much without a Polo; you can fully-mod a Lupo and have more fun.
 
yea I like the lupo too, but I was just trying to figure out which cars aren't available with GT2@ PS1. I think I'm going to get the game shark afterall.
BTW.... how does the TDI Golf run?
 
and what about the mx-5 mazda roadster from the lisence tests the white with the red writing on the side can you get that in the game???:odd:
