Can't find my DLC cars...

I'm a veteran Grand Turismo player transitioning to the Xbox and Forza 4, things aren't going as smoothly as hoped, but right now my biggest problem seems to be that the cars I've downloaded with my season pass and the cars I should have received with my collector's edition aren't available in my garage. Navigating through the Xbox isn't as intuitive to me as the PS3, am I missing some critical step? I'm sure that the content has been downloaded to my hard drive, but that's all I know. Thanks for any help, and don't blast me if this has been covered in some previous post, if so I didn't find it.:banghead:
 
You cars in their respective dealerships. If you downloaded an Audi, it would be in the Audi dealership, and so on. You have to use in game credits to buy them as well.
 
So when I paid extra for my collector's edition, plus the season pass, this merely gave me the right to purchase these cars from the dealerships in game?
 
Yes it sucks but a couple Rivals races or "Hire Driver" grinding should do the trick.

If you just want to drive them, try the "Quick play" modes.
 
Yes, its not like your paying real money to buy them from the dealer.

I don't get why people expect the cars to be in their garage. Your paying for game content. It's not going to be implemented any diffierent than any other game content.

When you purchased the game you didn't expect every car in the game to be in your garage did you?

You may want to consider that if someone has come from GT5 then that is exactly what the DLC does, it gives you the cars in your garage.

As such its a very valid question and to be honest didn't really require such an impolite reply.

My apologies if I came across impolite. I just don't understand why some people make a big deal about this.
 
Playing GT5 first, the free cars did arrive in my garage. I was a bit disappointed to buy the LCE for the two Ruf I wanted only to spend a week of playing to have enough money to buy them. Over time it doesn't matter but when making the switch between games it feels like a let down.
 
I really dont see the big deal about having to purchase the car with in game credits. You get a free car every level, and arent those LCE cars part of the leveling bonus's as well? so you'd still get them free anyways. If im not mistaken i know that some DLC cars were.
