Can't find "Quick tuning"!

Hi, this is my first post on the forum!

Bought GT5 Prologue yesterday, and have seen videos of the "Quick tuning" menu which should be possible to access before racing, and tweak the car a little extra. Some how I can seem to find this in the game anywhere. Can someone help me with this please?

So does this mean those of us that have the JPN version
will be able to access the QTS straight away?
 
Just a thought as if I've read right A,B and C races are being left intact.
 
I dont know. I dont mind starting over again though because the races are changed and theres more nice cars. Most of the cars in the japanese version were crap. There were about 7 cars in all I wanted. The rest were just naff.
 
The Japanese GT5p car lineup wasn't bad, but to many not Japanese cars if you ask me. Lukely well get more JDM stuf like the RX7, 8 and ER34.

It has been said that you lose your medals. Not really sure though...
