Can't find the game I want in PS2 format

I've really been wanting to try out Evolution GT, not Corvette Evolution or Racing Evolution just plain old Evolution GT.So far the only PS2 versions of the game I can find are in the PAL format for PS2. I do happen to come across PC versions from time to time and to be honest PC versions are mor common.We are goingto be buying a 60GB PS3 here in a bit over a week. Since you cabn download games to these from the internet is it possible to download a PC version and in turn playit or is this still out of the question? I'm almost beginning to wonder if I should just give up on ever playing Evolution GT on the PS2or3.

I tried going to Sony to get this info but this ancient PII powered laptop I am usingright now falls on its face at the Playstation website. no sooner than it loadsthe page it starts to close the browser!
