Can't get avatar photo to work (spec 2.0)

"Expanded Photo Travel features (you can now take photos of cars together with your avatar)."

This was in the update. But i can't get it to work. I take a car and go to a photo location. And then a friend of mine tells me to go to the screen where you take your shot. then press triangle. But i just get the same stuff there for example Aspect ratio , filters , magification and so on.

how the hell do you get your avatar to stand next to the car?

i worked it out. my friend was explaining like a retard

after you choose the place on the photo location. You get to the screen where you choose your car location then press the triangle and your avatar should appear.
