Can't Get F094/S In Polyphony Digital Cup

Okay, so I already beat the series once, and got the Speed 12. I redid the series again so I could get the F094/S, but EVERYTIME I quit out of the last race (with enough points to still win) I end up winning the Speed 12 again. I've got golds on every race last time I did the series, but I opted to quit out of a few of the races this time around.

Anyone know if I just have to keep trying to get the F094/S or what?
 
Well, after getting the Speed 12 *8* times in a row, I got the Escudo twice in a row, then the GT-One, then finally the F094/S. Shattered my record at Laguna (for run+setting) with it too!
 
Just do the seattle endurance or super speedway, those are the easiest ones to get a F-1.

Getting a car in the races that give multiple prizes is completely random by the way. the F-1 is the hardest to get though, you just have to get lucky. I have had a very hard time winning the F-1 in the seattle and super speed way, had to do both atleast 7 times. and Laguna has the other 2 F-1's that you can win in the game, but Laguna is so hard im not going to attempt it. you can win them in other races to anyways.
 
it's not all random, use the memory card trick and hit "O" whenever the black circle passes under the F1 car, it only took me 2 trys to get it.
 
Right, apart from the button pressing bit.

I've read you have to push "x" while the circle is under the car.............. proving once again that it is random :D
 
No. No input you make has any effect on the car you receive.

Still this myth pervades after, what, 2 years?
 
yes like I said, it is completely random. if it wasnt then they would have made it easier to select the car you want, and it would been documented in the manual.
