Can't get F1's

I have tried so many different races and i still can't get an F1 car. Can anyone tell me how they go their first one, and whats the easiest way to get one.

what lisnece do u have. And an easy way is to do the dream car champs in PRO. Or do a endurance race...your not garenteed an f1 if u do the enduro tho. But if u do the series u'll difentally win it with the save on last race cheat.

i have the IA license i havent done the S license yet its too frustrating when i only miss by a couple seconds, i did the super speedway 4 times and got the C5R and tickford race car twice each. Thanks

Try Super Speedway endurance some more or Seattle endurance.
Short races, much chance of winning a F1

Use the "Save before last race in the series" whatchamacallit!!

Okay Axis maN, here it goes...

Example, 5 race series. If you notice after you complete a race, you have the options at the bottom of the screen. Things such as Next, Replay, Exit, Save..., and another Save. The first Save... is to save the replay, don't do that one. Do the Save down at the end before the Exit box. This allows you to save during the series. This is helpful if a power outage happens....

Anyway, I suggest saving after each race anyway. I get sleepy too fast nowadays while racing long races and such. Say you win the first 4 races, that gives you 40 points. The highest points that second could have would be 24. Do the math with one race left, you can start the last race, then quit out at the start line, and you will still win the series. Someone else will get the 10 points, and you will get zero points for quitting a race. Just do the math and you may be able to quit after 7 or 8 races in a 10 race series. Anyway, I just suggest going through all the races except the last one.

Remember, save before hitting Next. After you hit Next, you CANNOT save until after the race. Now start the final race, making sure you are at least 11 points ahead of the second place, press start and quit the race. Then hit Next, you will be awarded the credits for winning the series, then taken to the prize car screen. You can try to use that "Press X" trick if you want. If you get the car you want, good!! Go save, and you're done. If you don't get the car of your choice, press triangle until you get to the main screen, then load game. That will take you back to the series again, ready to begin the final race. Repeat until you have desired car.

This may take a few tries to get the car you want, but just keep trying. Good luck!! I hope this helps, if you need something else, feel free to ask!!! I will explain anything that is not clear for you.

Some of those endurance races can be pretty fun if your car is equal in power to the CPU's. You will have a challenging, fun time, instead of a long boring race where you lap them twenty times. However, it would take longer with the endurances if you use a slow car.....

to add to Captainkirk's analysis of the save before last race, there are additional subtle ways to finish earlier.

For instance: Qualifying and getting the pole position eliminates points.

you take first place in races 1-6 giving you 60 points. Second place comes in with 36 points. You qualify in Pole position for races 7 & 8. then quit out of both races. You still have 60 points, and second place has 48. Run race #9, which will give you 70 points to their 54. Quit out of the last race and you finish the series with 70 and they finish with 64.

I've actually gone into a race with a maliciously overpowered car, and figured out the second place points leader by the third race. Beat him into submission so that he finishes in last place, and you finish first. This has allowed my to actually "Win" the series by the 6th race. Given the "qualify for points" method, you can do it too.

That is true. Whatever positions the AI cars have at the start of the race, that is the point value they will receive if you quit the race.

yeeeeeeeesssssss , i just finished my S-license , the road to the F-1 car is open !!! Cote-d'azur really is a biatch but i got it. I really don't know what happened, i was always getting 2-3 seconds of the bronce and then all of a sudden, i was 0.2 seconds under the time huray for me !

Welcome to the forum Bower. The easiest, though most boring way to get a F1 car is at Super Speedway Endurance. With as many times as you've run it, I would suggest the Rubber Band trick . Then when you win... At the prize cars screen when the flashing black dot is under the Formula 1 car press the X button. It does work. But to (mis)quote Chuin from Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins "You must be very fast". The flashing dot stays under the car about 1/2 second , so you must anticipate it.

You'll find the Rubber band trick elsewhere in the forum. But a quickie explanation. Set your throttle to "left" on your right analog stick. Pick a very powerful 4WD car (Escudo) Start the race and rubber band the sticks together.
The Escudo will run against the outer wall, never pit, and finish the race well ahead of the other cars.
This gives you an hour to read a book, clean the house, answer a booty call, etc.
