Can't get steering wheel working

Waiting until monday before I order my G25, meanwhile I fished out an old steering wheel from my garage. It was originally made for the ps1/ps2 and is really cheap (called logic3 Topdrive GT+).

I have a ps2>usb adaptor and I plugged the steering wheel in. The dpad on the steering wheel and the turning motion works for the menus, as well as selecting stuff. But whenever I start a race the wheel doesn't work. It wont turn or touch the gas or brakes or anything.

Any ideas what to do? Any settings that I need to change? (JPN version)

It's just not supported, I don't think you can do anything about it, sorry.
 
damn, guess I'm stuck with this controller until monday then. So hard to play with :(
 
Don't even taint your experience with that crapola while you wait for your G25. The best sim racing wheel for under 500 dollars is on it's way to your doorstep.
 
You will love your G25, Best $220 I ever spent on ebay. :)
