Can't give a car extra power in time trial?

Sorry if this has already been covered.

Is it really so that you can't give cars more power in time trial mode?

After doing some laps in the new STI on the Nordwand I thought I'd tune it (haven't really messed with quick tune yet) but I can't touch the power section.

Is this just like this all the time or is it something I'm doing wrong?

Wanted to simulate the Prodrive Pack by messing with the suspension and giving some extra power but I guess I can't give it more oomph then?

Anyone got an answer?

Sorry, but im pretty sure you cant tune cars on time trials, only TC, ASM etc.

Oh right, cause I just want to have a nice drive and tune my car up a bit. Guess I can't do that then...

You can tune everything else in Time trial though, suspension etc.

I just want to have a free drive dammit in my imaginary STI with Prodrive pack

Does it work there? I just go to Arcade then time trials to do some laps there and it certainly doesn't let me tune power/weight there.

Go to Arcade then Single Race and set the number of laps to infinite.

Yeah I suppose that's an option. Eventhough then there'll be other cars on the track but I guess you could just give them a headstart so they're not in the way.

Never actually gone in single race but I imagine it'll still tell you your best lap time won't it?

Complete event classes C, B and A to unlock the quick tune menu.

To do tuned-car time trials, go Online then scroll down and pick a time trial category. One you pick your car and OK, the track loads. On the menu for start, load ghost replay etc., scroll right to access the quick tune menu.
