Can't join online lobbies

So I just started playing again after a few months. I can still do seasonal events, but I can't join any lobbies, in fact no lobbies show up anyways when I try to go online, but it says that I do connect to the servers. I also can't even open up my own lounge
 
What error does it give you? Are you signed in to the PSN ? Some more information will help.
 
Are you using wifi?
 
Like Rumblina said are you signed into PSN?
If you are then it must be your network configuration.
 
I get this happening from time to time ( more so recently ) and find the only way it's get's sorted is by rebooting the PS3. ( For the record I'm plugged to the router rather than using my WIFI )
 
Upgrade your internet provider. This doesn't happen with good, solid, providers.

I am signed it, all it says is I cannot join lobby. And yes, I am using wifi

That must be the problem, if you can, use a wired conection, if not, upgrade your internet speed or make sure no one in the place you live/play is doing/watching something ''heavy'' in the internet, like an HD youtube video, someone using netflix or something else
 
I am currently getting

"A connection to the server could not be established.(ID = 2;2305)"
 
Does it show NAT 3?

Wifi is online lobby killer. I also suspect your Internet provider may have some issues in your network area. Hardwire to router clear the cache in settings menu. Power up router alone ( no connect to PS3 ) while rebooting PS3 at same time. Contact Internet provider for update on connect issues in your area. Good luck
 
Thanks for the help guys, I finally fixed it. All I had to do was switch to a faster connection
