Can't log in using Opera 9 in OSX

I'm trying to log in using Opera 9.0 Build 3312, but when I enter my username and password, it says wrong password/username. Am I the only one having this problem? There are some other sites that authentication services aren't working, is there a security setting that is wrong with my browser, or is it a problem with these sites?

When I started using Opera 8.53 (from 8.52), it failed to recognize security certificates from all sorts of sites (like my bank, email, etc) and would not log me into them...and the IMAP email stopped working, at which point I switched to IE7....

So as a random guess I'd say it's Opera's fault..

EDIT: missed where you said "in OSX"...that might change everything...
